Music from the Genome

A season of science and arts in Oxfordshire to mark the 350th anniversary of the Royal Society. Supported by Jacqui Ibbotson, the highlight of the season was a Sci-Music project initiated by anaethesist, Dr Andrew Morely to discover if there was gene for musicality. Funded by the Wellcome Trust and premiered at the Diamond Light Source it featured a composition by composer Michael Zev Gordon and was performed by the New London Chamber Choir.
